Nature Healing

I've always felt a connection to nature - with the forest, with trees, with the ocean, with storms, with misty autumn mornings, with moonlit nights, and with the smell of the earth after it rains. It's the purest source of energy and the simplest way to connect to the healing stream that surrounds us.

This summer has had me up late thinking about what a powerful healer nature can be for us and how often it's overlooked as a go to remedy to cope with life.

Here are a few rambling thoughts:

~ The ocean, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, and the forest are soul havens. They have a cleansing, clearing, and purifying effect on our spirit. The more we frequent these places, the more we are able to open our heart and release unnecessary stagnant energies.

~ Sunsets, sunrises, and rainbows remind us that we are surrounded by a holy magic.

~ Moon cycles, the seasons, and storms help us to ride the flow of life. Nature has rhythms just like we do. Honoring our unique rhythms keeps us young and connects us to our creativity.

Nature can heal us in so many ways. The more we lean in to its energy, the more we connect with our intuition, our truth, our magic, our power and a more authentic version of ourselves.

"We need the tonic of wildness. We can never have enough of nature." Henry David Thoreau.
