Yes, and…
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the concept of grace. Not just forgiveness or taking the higher road, but the transmission of grace. Divine grace. The wave of love that transmutes separation into light.
I do not at all understand the mystery of grace - only that it meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us. ~ Anne Lamott
There’s so much collective polarization in our world right now that I’m almost numb to it. Othering. Us versus them. Publicly shaming people for their mistakes. Cheering for someone’s downfall. Cutting people out of our lives because they have different opinions. Walking away from someone when they’ve screwed up because we’ve deemed their act an unforgiveable crime.
Grace doesn’t care who’s right or wrong. It’s freely given when we surrender to it and it doesn’t need to be earned. When we live in grace, we become a conduit for peace and healing. Grace is remembering that we were never separate from source, even at our darkest moments….and even when we betray ourselves along the way. Yes, people have to experience the consequences for their actions…and people are worthy of grace.
May your upcoming holiday season be filled with grace. May you allow it to come into your energy field, and may you radiate it to those you love. May you know its peace, and may it transform your life.
